I noticed on the login page us "really cool" members are now being described as "brilliant" instead.
Is that a step up, or down? |

Concluding a long run of a survey link replacing the member count, today's word is: astute.
Now taking suggestions. Only flattering words describing our members, of course. _________________ The Big Cheese |

I got stuck, so thanks to Refdesk.com I dug thru some old quotes from Shakespeare [never did read his comics] and came up with these gems:
scullian
rampallian
fustilarian
malcontent
gudgeon
scurvy
beslubbering
onion-eyed
ill-roasted
boil-brained
============
Onion-eyed is my favorite. After a marathon working at my laptop I feel like that sometimes,
So waddya think?

I would expand it to "brilliant MINDS" - that is, IF you are refering to a state of mind....not a precious stone.
I suppose if we were describing the members I have 'run' accross, I would use:
HOT

I don't know that scurvy would be a term that would attract new members to associate with our wonderful bunch. Great effort, though.
Fred,
Re: HOT
We must be careful so as to not make the phrase that describes 250Free as "under litigation". _________________ The Big Cheese |

Absolutely right. It doesn't have that 21st century ring about it.
I thunk again and came up with Inspired but you may have been inspired anough to have used that already.
'Course, if you put up a year's free Platiplus for the best nifty phrase and that would truly be inspirational |

Okay, don't all rush:
334,782 sociable members have joined.
334,782 motivated members have joined.
334,782 decisive members have joined.
It's a start |
